The music of Deliverance reflects the powerful liberating emotions. The soul sings as it soars into a glorious new day, like a flight of a bird from the darkness of a cage.
When Moses was led to bring the Hebrews and a small number of Egyptians who left Pharaoh for Moses, altogether the children of Israel, out of Egypt against all odds, after hundreds of years in exile, what tremendous pouring of energy parted the red sea as they were pursued by Pharaoh's chariots and horseman-what surge of passion and power as the children of Israel poured across this insurmountable obstacle.
Whether a singular, personal experience or that of an entire people, Deliverance evokes soaring emotions beyond measures. As it happened then, deliverance occurs in stages, from glory to glory.
